April 23, 2018In case you haven’t noticed, MSM– and I’m including pop culture/fashion magazines in this too– have been snubbing First Lady Melania Trump. As a former model and current FLOTUS and total fashion ICON, you’d think fashion magazines would be DYING to get her on their covers. But nope. They’re giving her the cold shoulder. She’s only appeared on one magazine cover since becoming FLOTUS– Vanity Fair Mexico in February 2017.
They’re obviously ignoring her. After all, Michelle Obama graced the cover of magazines at least 30 times throughout her husband’s two terms. I realize that goes across the span of 8 years, but in Melania’s single year, she’s only made one. She’s not exactly on track to catch up to Michelle O’s 30.
It’s not a contest. I know it doesn’t matter. It’s just another obvious bias thing.
TMZ caught up with Kellyanne Conway and asked her about that.
“Melania Trump is such a superior and excellent First Lady,” Conway told TMZ. “This country is so lucky to have her.”
“I don’t think she needs to be on the cover of a magazine for everyone to see how wonderful her work is,” she added.
No. She doesn’t, but it would be helpful. Low-fos read that stuff. I’m saying it. I want to see her on more covers. I know it sounds silly, but I think it would be really helpful.
