According to Fox 5:
A naked man who police said assaulted two passengers while on board a D.C. Metro train was tasered by officers and taken into custody Thursday morning in the District.
The incident happened at about 6 a.m. on a railcar that left the Gallery Place Metro station. A witness who shot video of the incident told FOX 5 that he first spotted the naked man inside of the station before the train arrived.
He told FOX 5 that he and the naked man boarded the same train and at the train’s first stop, the naked man exited the railcar. The witness told FOX 5 that the man entered a second train car and that he captured video of him striking a passenger.
Getting smacked by a naked LUNATIC is a PERFECT way to start your morning commute!
Metro Transit Police told FOX 5 that the man was naked inside of the Dupont Circle Metro station when they took him into custody. FOX 5 was there when the man was being taken out of the station on a stretcher. It is not clear if he has, or will, face charges.
FOX 5’s Matt Ackland says Metro’s police chief told him the suspect admitted to officers that he was under the influence of a controlled substance.
You don’t say!
The injuries to the passengers are not believed to be serious and authorities said their investigation was ongoing.
