February 17, 2018Hillary Clinton has a real knack for picking the absolute WORST times to open her mouth and spout her divisive, uninformed opinion.
On Friday, she (or one of her interns– let’s be honest. It was probably one of her interns) tweeted about the devastating Florida high school shooting. It’s repulsive. She’s playing off everyone’s emotional vulnerability and using it to advance her self-serving political agenda.
This week we lost 17 Americans in Parkland – the deadliest school shooting since Sandy Hook in 2012. Since then, 438 people have been shot and 138 killed in over 230 school shootings. That’s 5 school shootings every month, 16 of which classify as “mass shootings.”

Now is the time to listen to the students, teachers, and parents demanding that we end this carnage once and for all with gun safety laws that keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn’t have them.

Allow me to interrupt and point out that NO LAW would’ve prevented this from happening. Gun laws don’t keep criminals from committing evil deeds. Public schools are already gun free zones. Greater gun laws only make it more difficult for good guys with guns to protect themselves and others. Period. End of story. Wanna know what would’ve likely prevented this? The FBI actually doing its job. Why aren’t gun-grabbing Democrats talking about that? I’ll tell you why. Because it’s not politically expedient.

This honestly makes me queasy. She’s using those young people’s TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE emotional vulnerability to push a misguided political agenda– an agenda that won’t solve the actual problem.
Mass shootings are not inevitable. The majority of Americans support common sense gun reform. Though we feel angry, heartbroken, even helpless now, we have the power to elect people who will protect lives, not gun sellers’ profits. Remember these feelings in November, and VOTE.

No. Stop blaming our supposed “lack of laws.” Stop blaming guns. Stop blaming the Second Amendment. Stop blaming politicians. It’s time for society to look in the mirror. It’s time we blame our decaying culture. Enough of the antics. I’ve had it.
