79-Year-Old Maxine Waters Wants White House Chief Of Staff John Kelly To Apologize

Rep. Frederica Wilson has been all over the news. She’s super proud of herself, because she’s finally reached “rock star” status. 

She actually said that. Out loud. In front of people.

She’s spent the last two days accusing the Trump administration of turning the White House into a hidey-hole for white supremacists. It’s ridiculous, but it’s all she’s got at this point. When liberals realize they’re losing an argument, they immediately try to characterize their opponent as a racist, bigot or homophobe.

It’s so obvious. They do it every single time.

Anyway, this entire debacle has everyone saying that Wilson is the “new face” of the Democratic Party. It’s hilarious to me, because we all know they’re in desperate of young, fresh, new faces.

Is Wilson it? Is she the new, young, fresh face? Seriously? The woman turns 75 next month, you guys. Which as I’ve said before, actually makes her younger than other Democratic leaders such as 77-year-old Nancy Pelosi, 88-year-old John Conyers, 84-year-old Dianne Feinstein and 76-year-old Bernie Sanders. (I also feel inclined to tell you that Republicans have a few old folks too. Chuck Grassley is 84 and John McCain is 81. Although I don’t consider McCain a Republican so…)

Wilson is practically a spring chicken, by comparison.

Speaking of incredibly old lawmakers, Rep. Maxine Waters– who’s 79 (she was born in 1938. Let that sink in)– is demanding an apology from White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. Like most liberals, she’s upset over Kelly’s recent remarks.

Gen. Kelly has been tainted by Trump lying in the face of facts. Hasn’t he seen the same video of Rep. Wilson that everyone else has seen?

Keep in mind, that was NOT the focus of the discussion. Kelly originally came out to explain Trump’s thought process, and he did just that.

Trump did not disrespect a grieving family, and that’s what this was originally about. Don’t forget that.

If the wife and family of Sgt. Johnson feel they were disrespected by Trump, then they were disrespected. Period!
