Former FBI director James Comey is expected to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee this Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
Yep. It’s still on. And according to recent reports, President Trump will NOT invoke executive privilege to stop Comey from testifying.

“The president’s power to assert executive privilege is well established,” Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during the daily press briefing. “However, in order to facilitate a swift and thorough examination of the facts sought by the Senate Intelligence Committee, President Trump will not assert executive privilege regarding James Comey’s scheduled testimony.”
GOOD. I don’t know why he would’ve blocked it. It just would’ve made him look bad. I’m actually amazed by how many people seem genuinely surprised by this. It’s even trending on Twitter right now.
