Early Monday morning, President Trump sent out a flurry of tweets on his temporary travel order. You know. The order that’s been blocked by federal judges.
People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want, but I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!

Notice Trump said, “The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.”
The Supreme Court is expediting the review of the Fourth Circuit’s blocking of the controversial travel order, but Trump’s taking it a step further and wondering why we can’t focus on the first version. I have no idea why he’s making that argument. It’s kind of irrelevant at this point. People say the first order wasn’t specific enough and that the revised version would hold up better in court. It’s as simple as that.
Now, Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway, is an attorney who was, according to the Daily Caller, “reportedly a leading contender to head the DOJ’s civil division before removing himself from consideration.” He took to Twitter to scold Trump for his travel ban tweetstorm.

However, he stressed that he still fully supports the president.

I totally get what he’s saying, but I’m conflicted on this one. On one hand, I get it. One crappily (I don’t even care if that’s not a word) worded tweet can seriously undermine Trump’s agenda, but I don’t think these tweets were truly damaging. Clearly, Trump is very passionate about keeping this country safe, and he believes a temporary travel ban will help accomplish that. And as we all know, when Trump’s passionate about something, he tweets about it.
What do you think? Should Trump tamp it down on these travel ban tweets and let the Supreme Court sort it out? Could his own words hurt him in the long run?
