High School Student Won’t Stop Changing Which Gender He/She/It Wants To Be

The kicker? The school actually had to get the girl to sign a contract so she would stop changing her gender back and forth.

But – but – but – Tumblr told me I could!!! Special snowflakes! You’re triggering MEEEEE!!

According to this, a biologically female student from Long Island, New York, has been going back and forth changing her gender identity on school records. She’s done this at least twice – first declaring that she wanted to identify as a male. The school – Valley Stream South High School – made all the accommodations for her. Changing her name, her gender on the records, her preferred pronoun, the works. This, even though it was close to the end of the year and school officials initially asked her to wait until the new semester because it would be easier.

But nope. She insisted. So, the school recorded that “she” was now a “he.”

But now, she’s decided that “she” actually is a “she” and wants the school to change her records back to reflect her gender as her biological sex. Thus creating more work and headaches for the school to make the changes that, up until a few weeks ago, didn’t need changing –

The student, who chose to remain anonymous, told the Post that the teachers and her fellow classmates made the change and she felt comfortable in her new identity. That is, until this year, when she decided to revert to her biological sex, female.

She decided to resume her classification as a woman because a younger relative, who was unaware of her short-lived male identity, was set to enter the school.

“My parents and friends knew but some of my other relatives — mainly my grandparents — didn’t know,” the student said. “I was worried that this relative would tell them and I just couldn’t deal with that at this point.”

Well, if you didn’t want people to know about it, why did you throw a big fit about your school making the change in the first place?

The school decided to give into the student’s request, but also made her sign a contract that she wouldn’t change it back –

The student’s guidance counselor complied with the flip-flopping teen’s request, with one condition: She had to sign a contract barring her from changing her identity again as long as she was a student at Valley Stream South High School.

And for yet another kicker – now she’s admitting that “gender isn’t a big deal either way” –

The student agreed, though she was frustrated her guidance counselor would force her into making such a decision because “a student should feel safe to figure their identity out no matter how many times they change who they are.”

“They should have just supported me in my decision either way,” she told the Post.

As a result of the school forcing the student’s hand, she now identifies as a gay female — an identity the student said she is likely to maintain because she “came to the realization that gender is not a big deal either way.”

Where oh where do I begin with this?

First off – kudos to the school for slapping down this kid’s flip-flopping BS. Because, if we go by how the gender identity mobs talk about this issue, you can decide what gender you are by the MINUTE. One minute you could be a chick, but in the next you can believe that you’re a special “crystagender” snowflake and that EVERYBODY has to give into your fickle whims. And if they don’t, they’re just a bunch of bigots!

Second off – If gender isn’t a big deal, why did you MAKE it a big deal? Why are all your social justice Tumblrina buddies trying to make it a big deal? That’s the part I don’t understand. I’m sure transgender people were around long before this became an issue and they were happy to adopt a live-and-let-live attitude with the rest of us. Nobody made a huge production out of it.

But suddenly, society “has to” provide special accommodations for this small percentage of the population? That our “moral standing” (as far as the Cult of Social Justice is concerned) is suddenly dependent on how fast we lie down and give grown men an excuse to share a restroom with little girls. And this has to be handed down by the federal government??

It’s stupid. Plain and simple.
