Sen. Cory Booker is super duper upset that Betsy DeVos is education secretary– so upset that he vowed to continue to fight for the children, even though DeVos’ school choice stance is as pro-children as it gets.
But who cares! The fight must continue, because he wants to be president someday he cares about the children.
To all who are angry or frustrated about today's vote confirming DeVos, please know: the vote may be over, but our fight must continue. pic.twitter.com/QHFveiRv9d

I guess he forgot that he served on the board for the Alliance for School Choice and gave a speech at DeVos’ American Federation for Children and called the organization “incredible.”
“So happy to be here, this is the first time I’ve gotten to come back to this incredible organization since I’ve been elected to United States Senate; and my experience over the years coming to this to this conference, coming to meetings, meetings of incredible folks who really believed in me when I was at the start of my career there are some people in this room who really were the difference makers as I was climbing the ladder in Newark, New Jersey, with a vision for transforming that city,” Booker said.
He even took it a step further and said that the partisanship surrounding the school choice movement was ridiculous.
“I cannot ever stand up and stand against a parent having options because I benefited from my parents having options,” Booker said at the time. “And when people tell me they’re against school choice, whether it’s the Opportunity Scholarship Act or charter schools, I look at them and say, ‘As soon as you’re telling me you’re willing to send your kid to a failing school in my city or in Camden or Trenton, then I’ll be with you.'”

“The fight.” Booker worked with DeVos and called her organization “incredible.” He used to speak at her events, too. https://t.co/xOXNBVG7wS

@SenBookerOffice You have no morals whatsoever. You praised her until she became part of Trump's team. Your words have no value, nor do you.

@SenBookerOffice You were happy to work with her not that long ago. What changed? You running for president?

New political ambitions. You know how that goes. I don’t know why anyone’s surprised. This is the same guy who worked with Sen. Jeff Sessions to honor civil rights activists and then suddenly decided Sessions was a giant racist and testified against him for no Actual Reason.
