November 25, 2016On Friday, U.S. District Judge Richard Gergel announced that Dylann Roof– the complete scumbag who murdered nine black churchgoers at Emanuel AME Church last year– is competent to stand trail. This was up for debate, as Roof’s lawyers raised questions on his mental state. That excuse is out the window now.

Prosecutors filed court papers saying Roof appears competent to them because he has shown proper behavior toward court personnel and been attentive at other hearings.
Roof faces capital murder charges in state court and, if convicted, could face the death penalty.
Jury selection will start Monday. May justice be served.
