In Lieu Of Another Open Letter, I’m Going To Let Crazy Russian Dad Speak For Me.

We’ve had several folks send us correspondence to tell us what they think about the election outcome, specifically what they think about young girls and what they are telling them.  I especially love getting 3,696 emails a day from people trying to tell me how to parent my daughters.  That’s my favorite.

I thought about fisking a few of those letters, but instead, I found this fabulous perspective from Crazy Russian Dad, who (in this video, particularly) seems to be my spirit animal, and I totally want to party with him.

So, especially bleeding heart liberal Moms out there who have told their first grade daughters that Donald Trump is starting a war like ASAP and that this country is full of doom and gloom?  And those who look to politicians for their moral compass in life? And people wearing safety pins and calling suicide hotlines and rioting in the streets right now?

Freaking calm the freak DOWN.  Go do something useful with your life.  I mean, eight years ago, when Mock and I were irritated about the election, I looked at her and said, “Hey, you know what we should do in our spare time (you know, while we’re not working our OTHER full-time jobs and being full-time Moms and wives and stuff)?  We should start a website.”

Yeah.  That’s what CONSERVATIVE women do when they’re pissed off.   They don’t wreck stuff and scare their kids.  They start businesses.  Because this is America, and it ROCKS.  Go figure.
