Police have charged Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with simple battery for allegedly grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields at a press conference in Florida.

Again. We’re talking about arm grabbing. ARM GRABBING. I’m sorry, but I’m having a difficult time taking this seriously.
“Mr. Lewandowski was issued a notice to appear and was given a court date. He was not arrested. Mr. Lewandowski is absolutely innocent of this charge. He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in a statement.
“He is completely confident that he will be exonerated,” she said.
In addition, the police department released security footage of the incident. I’m still unimpressed. (Fields is the one with brown hair and tan/white looking top.)

Honestly, I’m completely over this story. I think Michelle Fields overreacted (although I understand why she was so upset with Breitbart for not having her back), and Lewandoski is a tool.
