October 24, 2015I seriously do not understand why Bernie Sanders is so freaking popular or how he even got to that point. Sure, he’s promising free crap, just like Democrats have done for decades. But why Bernie? And why is socialism suddenly so appealing to this nation’s young people?
Well, I came across a simple meme that might begin to answer that question –
Right. On. The. Money. If you are used to getting everything for free, the politician that gives you the most free crap is the one that gets your vote. Even if the math doesn’t work and even if you’re going to end up paying MORE for that “free” crap in the long run (reality’s gonna hit these kids HARD).
