You're all shocked, I know.
According to this, Iran is NOT allowing UN Inspectors speak to their nuclear scientists. So, while Obama runs around touting the Iran Nuclear deal as this great historic victory for… Obama, Iran is ALREADY violating the terms of the deal.
The IAEA and its director-general, Yukiya Amano, have been trying for more than five years to debrief Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, an Iranian military officer the U.S., Israel and IAEA suspect oversaw weaponization work in Tehran until at least 2003.Mr. Amano said Tehran still hasn’t agreed to let Mr. Fakhrizadeh or other Iranian military officers and nuclear scientists help the IAEA complete its investigation. The Japanese diplomat indicated that he believed his agency could complete its probe even without access to top-level Iranian personnel.“We don’t know yet,” Mr. Amano said about the agency’s interview requests. “If someone who has a different name to Fakhrizadeh can clarify our issues, that is fine with us.”
Maybe someone should get Jack Black to make a video telling Iran to let the UN inspectors in. It's totally worth a try!
Super. So, while Iran's Supreme Leader leads Iranians in chants of "Death to America" (don't worry – I'm sure it's just for political show to appease the locals), and John Kerry thinks it's no big deal that Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map – we're trusting Iran to hold up their end of a really, really, really crappy bargain (and don't you dare say it's a bad deal – otherwise, you're no better than the terrorists in Iran)
It's like asking a cat to baby-sit your hamster and promise not to eat him while you're gone. My money's on the cat, personally.
