Obama Wants 3.7 BILLION For Immigration Crisis Now…

About a week ago, Obama wanted $2 BILLION for the immigrant crisis.  You know, to make it all better and whatnot.  Today?  He's asking for $3.7 BILLION.  Because why not, right?  I mean, it's just taxpayer money.  What does he care? 

Dude. Is. STRUGGLING.

Meanwhile, in Reality, there's Republican Representative Lamar Smith, who's basically saying to Obama:

You see, Rep. Smith believes that Congress shouldn't give Obama jack SQUAT until Obama STOPS THE BLEEDING AND SECURES THE BORDER. 

Which is a mighty fine idea, considering that "since October (according to Breitbart), more than 52,000 unaccompanied children and 39,000 women with children have been detained illegally crossing the southern border. The vast majority are from El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala – and come believing they will be allowed to remain in the United States.

“This isn’t a funding problem, it’s an enforcement problem. Rather than enforce our nation’s immigration laws, the President has chosen to ignore them. Instead, he continues to call for massive amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants,” Smith said.

I'm in total agreement with Smith.  Secure the border first, then we can talk about (more) money.  But I'm just not buying what Obama's selling, and neither is Smith, as he – like a lot of us American taxpayers – believe that Obama "cares more about the interests of illegal immigrants than of law-abiding citizens.”

That's damn right.

More good news today?  Smith isn't the only one with that endangered thing called common sense: 

The reduced immigration group Numbers USA is calling on its supporters to call lawmakers on the House and Senate Appropriations Committees and demand that, before they allocate the billions in additional funding Obama has requested, three conditions must be satisfied:

1) change the 2008 law so unaccompanied alien minors from noncontiguous countries are treated the same as those from Canada and Mexico,

2) no money is sent to foreign countries that refuse to take back their citizens, and

3) any extra funds should ONLY go to Border Patrol and ICE to stop the surge.

I just wonder how much Dear Leader will be asking for next week.  $5 BILLION?
