Awww….Look Everyone. The PC Police Is Trying To Ruin Christmas Again.

Here’s the first paragraph of this article I read this morning: A small Pennsylvania town has removed a Nativity scene from its borough building after a resident complained that the creche is offensive to non-Christians. And while town leaders say they don’t like having to remove it, they say they are legally obligated.

Megan Hartley, some resident chick, wrote an “I’m offended!” letter to the radio station which stated the following:

“I think that it is highly disrespectful to the citizens of this Borough that are not Christian to have Christian iconography displayed on government property,” she reportedly wrote, “a government that is supposed to represent all of the citizens, not just the majority.”

Awww. Poor little Megan and her hurt feelings. Yeah. I’ve heard that it causes liberal PC-folks’ eyes to bleed when they have to look at the baby Jesus and stuff.

GAWD.

So yeah – they took it down. But not before the Knights of Columbus (the guys who have been putting it up for THE PAST FIFTY SEVEN YEARS) expressed that they, too, were offended that they had to move it. But they were forced to, because (according to Mayor David Rhome), “In the world we live in, the courts dictate what we can do,” he said. “The law is the law.”

PC is the law now, everyone. Isn’t that AWESOME?

And hey Megan! MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS from us at Chicks on the Right. Sorry about that whole not-getting-asked-to-the-prom-in-high-school thing. But it seems as though you’re channeling your bitterness well. Nice work.
