They Literally Cut Holes In Masks And Forced Kids To Wear Them To Virtue Signal Mask Compliance

California is full of some of the best actors in the world, and they aren’t just Hollywood celebs.

Check out the political theater going on in California schools right now, where teachers have pushed hard for masking in the classroom and moaned about risking their lives to teach in person, then they go to a fundraiser where every single adult is unmasked and these poor band kids have to play their instruments with a mask on to virtue signal mask compliance, despite the absurdity. The kids are literally wearing masks with a big ol’ hole cut in the front of the mask for their mouthpieces, because the MOST important thing is to virtue signal to the public how important it is to wear a mask, even when it’s doing absolutely nothing at all for anyone.

This last one is one of my favorites. This guy asks if choir kids can also just wear masks with holes in them, if Covid is really so dangerous that the band kids need to be wearing a mask with a hole while playing their instruments.

If band students can wear masks with holes, can choir students do the same?

I’m not a COVID guy, but if it’s as deadly as MDH thinks it is, pretty sure blowing a trumpet full of spit is the worst thing you could do.

Is this guy serious? Does he really have no clue at all? Does he actually not understand science or germs or masks, like, AT ALL? Is he an example of what we’re dealing with across the country? I reaaaaally hope he’s being facetious.

If you wear a mask with a giant hole in it, especially if you then proceed to actively blow air and spit out of that hole by either blowing into a musical instrument or singing, then it’s as though you never wore a mask at all! That mask becomes as in effective as if you had worn absolutely no mask at all! The same goes for wearing a mask and then taking it off for things like conversations, etc. Because the whole point of these masks is to capture the droplets of spittle that could potentially contain and spread the virus molecules. And if there’s a giant hole in the mask, and your blowing air and spit through that giant hole, then you may as well wear no mask at all. Which is why masking has been so incredibly ineffective– people are taking off their masks to talk and sing and eat, handling their dirty masks with their hands that then touch other things, wearing their improper masks improperly… I’m honestly floored at the stupidity. No wonder this country is where we are today. There are rampant imbeciles who have no clue about the actual science behind masks and germs, and therefore believe literally anything they’re told, no matter how illogical or unscientific it actually is. Because they literally don’t know the difference.

Back in 2020, there were all kinds of mocking mainstream news articles about the “covidiot” who cut a hole in her mask to make it easier to breathe, talking about how this woman is a total “Karen” who obviously doesn’t understand the purpose of masks. But guess what? That’s exactly what’s happening with all these band kids!

This is all completely illogical and absurd. But it’s all about forcing mask compliance, and not at all about actual science or actual public health.

I guess the upside is that Biden will probably announce that he has beat COVID and declare the pandemic over, citing manipulated data that reflects an almost miraculous improvement in COVID statistics, and everyone can pretend like this kind of absolute stupidity wasn’t forced on the entire nation for 2 years.
