Woman Suing Kraft For Mac ‘n Cheese False Advertising, And I Cannot Believe This Is A Real Story.

Look at this. This is yet another reason why our society is doomed, because of people like Amanda Ramirez.

Amanda Ramirez has brought a lawsuit against Kraft Heinz, makers of the single-serving Velveeta Shells and Cheese product (among many others.) It’s to be a class action suit, and the greedy, frivolous-lawsuit-chasing weirdos at the Sheehan and Associates in NY and Wright Law Office in Florida are saying that Kraft needs to pony up millions and skillions of dollars to Amanda and others, because the package claims that the single-serving cheesy treat is ready in 3 and a half minutes.

What’s the problem? Well, that 3 and a half minutes only represent the microwave cook time, and does not account for the time it takes to remove the lid from the package, add water, and then stir up that water with all of the cheese powdery goodness.

I’m not making this up. Amanda and her legal team say those three extra steps in preparing the Shells and Cheese have caused trauma that can ONLY be cured by millions and skillions of dollars. Because now, you see, Amanda is, “unable to rely on the labeling and representations not only of this Product, but other similar products that claim they are ready in a specific amount of time, because she is unsure whether those representations are truthful.”

So this is where we are. Amanda and her legal parasites are accusing Kraft of “violating the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act and state consumer fraud acts. They also say the company engaged in negligent misrepresentation, fraud, false and misleading advertising, breach of warranty and unjust enrichment.”

All because Amanda had to OPEN A PACKAGE, add water, and stir.

I can’t.

Now, Kraft Heinz says they are “aware of this frivolous lawsuit and will strongly defend against the allegations in the complaint.” I hope that’s true, because it’d be a hell of a lot easier for them to just say, “Here’s 25k to settle, you ridiculous hag” then it will be for them to fight this out in court. And people like Amanda and her lawyers KNOW this. It’s why these frivolous lawsuits continue to get filed.
