Cassidy Hutchinson Hated Trump SOOOOO MUCH That She Stayed On His Payroll For Nine Weeks After Jan 6th

Well, this is super interesting. Cassidy Hutchinson – y’all remember her, don’t you? She was the BOMBSHELL WITNESS in Liz Cheney’s drama-club-overly-produced-one-sided-TV-miniseries. She reminds me of Charlene Tilton’s character in Dallas: sort of ridiculous and not really great at her craft, but just enough youthful cuteness to grab everyone’s attention for five minutes while she said “to the effect of” about five BAZILLION times.

Yeah. Her.

Anywho, she was SO DISGUSTED by the “un-American” things that she saw and went through on January 6th that she continued to take money as a member of Trump’s staff, “on the President’s behalf,” which – to me, anyway – is weird, if you are someone who is so very principled like Cassidy is and whatnot.

But we’re talking about almost two and a half months of work with an “un-American” dude who she apparently despised and well, money, of course. Money that came directly from us taxpayers – many of whom she despises, I imagine.

Hutchinson served as a “coordinator” for Trump’s official, taxpayer-funded post-presidential office from about January 20, 2021, to April 1, 2021, earning an annualized salary of $90,000, the General Services Administration documents state.

The documents establish that Hutchinson continued to earn a government paycheck for work in support of Trump for weeks after she witnessed his actions — and lack of action — on January 6, even as other colleagues resigned soon thereafter.

It’s all very baffling. I mean, if you’re so disgusted by an individual, why would you continue to work for him? And why would you stay for nine weeks? Especially if you’re such a pillar of integrity.

Of course, “Hutchinson and her lawyers did not respond to Insider’s requests for comment.” Because of COURSE they’re not going to do that.
