Yesterday, I wrote about Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s back and forth over Twitter/Truth Social. You can catch up on that right here. After that post went up, I saw that Elon Musk addressed the accusation of Trump that he’d told Trump he voted for him.
Not true

It’s apparently not over. According to that sourcelink, it hurt Trump’s ego enough that Elon Musk denied voting for him that Trump just couldn’t help himself. He took to Truth Social to rip on him (and included a photo of Elon Musk in the Oval Office with him).

Elon Musk responded on Twitter. Another Twitter user had posted a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social comments on Twitter, and commented, “Oh, man, we’re really going to do this. What happens the two most volatile social media accounts collide?” And Elon replied:

Honestly, that’s the appropriate response. It is pointless to engage Trump on this kind of nonsense. And WHAT POSSIBLE GOOD does it do Trump to go after Elon Musk, I ask you? Could one of you Trump loyalists explain this to me please?
Previously, of course, when Trump didn’t feel slighted by Musk, he’d called him “one of our great geniuses.” But since then, Musk has indicated that he’s leaning toward supporting DeSantis in 2024 (if DeSantis chooses to run), and obviously that doesn’t sit well with Trump.
Trump’s RELENTLESS when it comes to people who he believes have slighted him – this is nothing new. And the good news is that ultimately, he’s also quite forgiving, as we saw with Ted Cruz and Mitt Romney shortly after Trump’s election. But these on line spats that he starts are part of the drama and nonsense that I just do not look forward to again. Your mileage, of course, may vary.
But I’d still like to know what GOOD this all does. Anyone?

WooHoo! Finally could log in. It took forever and I had to physically type the link (neither clicking on the link nor copy/paste worked- both kept giving a 404 error), but it worked.
Which link are you talking about having to physically type in, exactly? We are still doing a lot of troubleshooting and the more data we can collect the better! Thank you!
