BREAKING: Kyle Rittenhouse Found Not Guilty on All Charges

OPINION | This article contains political commentary which reflects the author's opinion.

What a great day for America, y’all.

After three and a half days of deliberation, the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty for Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen who shot three people and killed two at riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last summer.

Rittenhouse was facing up to life imprisonment if found guilty of the five charges against him:

Count 1: First Degree Reckless Homicide – Not Guilty

Count 2: First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Not Guilty

Count 3: First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Not Guilty

Count 4: First Degree Intentional Homicide – Not Guilty

Count 5: Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide – Not Guilt [sic]

I am so thrilled and relieved for Rittenhouse, obviously, but also for America. Justice was served. This was the only right answer, and for what feels like the first time this decade, we found it.

Best wishes from all of us at Chicks on the Right, Kyle. I hope the next court cases I follow this closely are your lawsuits against practically every news outlet in America– take ’em for every penny you can get. You are no white supremacist. You are no terrorist. You are no murderer. You’re a free man in the greatest country in the world.

Someone buy this kid a beer. (LEGALLY, OBVIOUSLY.)
