I haven’t seen or heard a Joe Rogan episode that I didn’t find interesting, but I found this one with Michael Pollan particularly fascinating. I don’t drink coffee myself. I think I’m the only person I know of who doesn’t. Maybe I would drink it if I could, but I’m allergic so that’s a non issue.
This is usually where people’s jaws drop open and they wonder how I’m ever awake and functioning. Well, I don’t know, I don’t really have a choice I guess.
Because I don’t drink coffee or give it much thought, listening to someone discuss the history of caffeine, how it affects the human body, and its role in influencing society was so engrossing. Maybe it’s the nerd in me selling you false promises of intriguing conversation, but I really don’t think this is a waste of your time!
