AOC’s stupidity was really fun for all of us for quite a while, but now it’s just getting tiresome.
Let’s get a few things straight –
The term “surge” is often used as a measure that usually refers to an overwhelming increase of something. Hell, a surge is often referenced for low-pressure weather systems, such as a “storm surge” of water caused by a hurricane.
The term “insurgent” refers to a violent, armed rebellion against authority – which, if we simply evaluate the statistics of illegal immigrants causing violent crime, it’s still not accurate to deem the terminology as “white supremacy.” The terminology then simply becomes factual.
Surge is also a citrus-flavored soft drink. I think we can all safely say that the immigrants are not in fact citrus-flavored soft drinks.
The Daily Caller reported:
Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized the use of the word “surge” when describing illegal immigrants trying to enter the country during the current border crisis, Fox News reported.
Ocasio-Cortez posted Instagram stories Tuesday evening and said that using the term “surge” to describe the border crisis is “militaristic,” according to Fox News.
“They wanna say, ‘But what about the surge?’ Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who’s using the term ‘surge’ around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame and that’s a problem because this is not a surge, these are children. These are not insurgents and we are not being invaded,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Ocasio-Cortez also said, “a white supremacy idea and philosophy” is the basis for using the term “surge” to describe migrants entering the country illegally.

…she does realize that she’s acknowledging that the migrants are attempting to enter the country ILLEGALLY, right? Which, some would suggest is a rebellion against authority… No?
