Fortunately, or unfortunately, the Biden campaign has restated its commitment to the remaining two debates. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad.
Last night’s debate was so painful to watch for many reasons. Trump was far too amped up and interrupt-y. Biden was far too dodgy. Biden kept lying and lying and had moderator Chris Wallace in his pocket.
Buckle up, because the next two debates will happen.
Joe Biden has pledged to continue to debate President Trump, the Democratic nominee’s deputy campaign manager told reporters after the two candidates’ first encounter descended into a chaotic scene, according to a report.
“I don’t know how many different ways we can say it. Yes, we are going to do the debates,” Kate Bedingfield said, The Hill reported.
“I would imagine there will be some additional conversations [with the Commission on Presidential Debates]. But yeah, we are committing to attending the debates,” she added.
Biden’s running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, also suggested that the former veep planned to debate the president again on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22.
“Joe Biden’s never going to refuse to talk to the American people,” Harris said on CNN when asked if Biden should continue taking part in the debates.
Can you watch two more debates? I don’t know if my mental health can handle it. If the Fox News moderator was as bad as he was, can you even fathom how biased the moderators from C-Span and NBC will be?
It sure would be great if we could fast forward to November 4th, wouldn’t it?
