Amy Klobuchar Condemns Harassment Of RNC Attendees, But Blames It On Trump: ‘It Is Happening Under Trump’s Watch’

Extremely unlikable Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), who even so would have been a far better candidate for the Democrats than Joe Biden, has gone on the attack in blaming President Trump for widespread violence across America.

Senator Klobuchar was asked by ABC’s Jon Karl about the harassment of Rand Paul and others leaving the White House after the Republican National Convention last week.

Here is what Klobuchar had to say according to The Daily Caller.

“So what was your reaction as you saw that?” Karl asked. “There’s no question that Trump supporters were intimidated and approached as they left the White House in a rather menacing way.”

“My first reaction is, and I have long condemned looting, violence, threats,” said Klobuchar. “That’s not peaceful protest, and I don’t care who’s engaging in it, you condemn it, and of course, Joe Biden has clearly condemned it.”

“This isn’t just happening in one place,” she continued. “It’s happening all over the country. It is happening under Donald Trump’s watch. What is going on? We have innocent people like George Floyd shot by police. We have what happened in Kenosha, and then we have a president that literally stands on the people’s lawn in violation of the Hatch Act, stands on the lawn with a bunch of pageantry and a bunch of fancy clothes with arias playing from the balcony and says, ‘oh, do you want to be safe?’ We are not safe in Donald Trump’s America.”

First, who gives a rip about the precious Hatch Act at this point? We have much bigger fish to fry in America right now.

Also, when did George Floyd get shot by the police? As I recall it, he was high on fentanyl and died with a police knee on his neck. It will be up to a jury to decide whether the police action caused his death. Also, have you noticed the Democrats use the term “innocent” very loosely? All criminals seem to be model citizens in their minds.

Democratic mayors, like Ted Wheeler in Portland and Lori Lightfoot in Chicago, have repeatedly denied offers of federal help in quelling the riots, or peaceful protests as Democrats like to call them. When do the almost exclusively Democratic mayors of these cities facing riots bear any responsibility for what is happening in them? We know the mainstream media won’t hold them to account, so our only hope is the voters in November.

Finally, cities in Klobuchar’s state, like Minneapolis, have voted to defund the police. You paralyze your police from acting and defund them but, sure, it’s all Trump’s fault, Senator Klobuchar.

2. Her city of Minneapolis burned and her fellow City Democrats not only allowed it but voted to defund the police, the feckless Minnesota governor finally asked the President for the National Guard to put down the rioting, and Klobuchar has the gall to blame the President.
