The Blaze is reporting that Dr. Anthony Fauci and Colin Kaepernick will be receiving the 2020 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award.
It’s a ripple of something….GAG ME!!!
I truly cannot think of two people LESS WORTHY of this award.
On Monday, the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization issued a statement about the honors.
“At a time when the courageous pursuit of equality and justice has become political and riddled with adversity, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights stands with these modern-day human rights defenders in their inspirational fight for progress,” the org announced.
Kerry Kennedy, president of the organization, said that in 2020, the country is “yearning for leadership, for moral fortitude, for common decency and kindness, and this year’s Ripple of Hope laureates give us great hope for the future.”
If today were April Fool’s Day, I would be certain this was a joke.
Let’s start with the one and only Dr. Anthony Fauci. This man has been leading the way to take away people’s rights to go to church, gather, work, play at the park, say good-bye to loved ones in hospital and funerals, and go to school. And yet somehow, this man gives us hope for the future! I don’t know about you, but I’ve battled feeling hopeless in 2020, in no small part due to the lockdowns.
Next, we have Colin Kaepernick. This man decidedly does not exemplify decency and kindness.
Remember when he wore these police pig socks?
He started a movement that has had a chilling effect on free speech. Now, people are afraid to stand in honor of our flag and national anthem. He is decidedly anti-American and anti-capitalist. You may remember the time when he pressured Nike into cancelling their Betsy Ross flag shoes.
I can think of a few people off the top of my head who are actually worthy of this award. Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Ian Smith (New Jersey gym owner), and Pastor John MacArthur, just to name a few.
The fact is, this is just an award to honor libs for being such good libs.
None of this is surprising though from a liberal group like the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization.
