May 25, 2019San Diego Police received a call last year about a deranged man who had attacked another with a machete.
When they got there, they found Vaughn Denham swinging a chain towards them and entirely out of his mind. “Trump is the devil,” he’s heard yelling.
Police first tased him, and then fatally shot him when the taser had no effect.
As the investigation into the shooting wraps up, the DA’s office has released the following video, demonstrating the truly awful things law enforcement can be up against.

The video shows Denham moving in on an officer yelling “You better get down or I’m going to shoot you! Do you understand that?”
He ignores him and moves forward, swinging the chain.
The officer shoots twice.
A toxicology report later revealed Denham had PCP, marijuana and methamphetamine in his system.
The investigation concluded that the officer fired in his own defense, and therefore will not be facing any charges.
