WATCH: James Comey comments on the Mueller report
For reasons completely unknown to everyone, CNN held a town hall with former FBI Director James Comey. During the event, Comey actually said, “The FBI doesn’t spy.”
“I have no idea what he’s talking about,” Comey said of Barr, who told a Senate panel last month that he believed federal authorities spied on the Trump campaign. “The FBI doesn’t spy, the FBI investigates. We investigated a very serious allegation that Americans might be hooked up with the Russian effort to attack our democracy.”

Comey’s not done. He has more choice words for Barr.
The AG should stop sliming his own Department. If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found. An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth. Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.

Comey wants to talk about being a leader? Really???
Comey is under active DOJ investigation for leaking classified information to the press.
He’s also facing three other inquiries being run by Horowitz, Huber, & Durham that will scrutinize his leadership at the FBI.
Upshot: Comey’s days of freedom are numbered. And he knows it. https://t.co/Y3AzO0WxLn
