Trump And Pelosi Continue Their SOTU Spat On Twitter

You saw what went on yesterday, yes?  Trump sent a letter to Pelosi saying he was planning on giving the SOTU address next week as planned.  Pelosi sent a letter back saying she was basically disinviting him.  Trump responded to this by saying she was afraid of the truth:

You guys, I thought FOR SURE he’d pick another way to give the address – maybe a written copy to Congress and then a verbal delivery at some huge rally somewhere or something, but then this happened.

As the Shutdown was going on, Nancy Pelosi asked me to give the State of the Union Address. I agreed. She then changed her mind because of the Shutdown, suggesting a later date. This is her prerogative – I will do the Address when the Shutdown is over. I am not looking for an….

So yeah – if you’re a Democrat who thinks Pelosi gives a crap about federal employees not getting paid? She doesn’t. She cares about Pelosi, and only Pelosi.

By the way, you know how the House voted on a bill to re-open the government yesterday, essentially pushing the immigration discussion down the road (which is their preferred place for it)? Guess who the only Democrat to vote “No” on it was.

AOC.

You know why? Because it funded ICE, and apparently AOC doesn’t want to fund that government agency because AOC doesn’t want the United States to exist as a country. That’s legitimately the only reason not to fund ICE. You don’t want to protect and secure our borders according to the laws of the land? Then you don’t believe in the laws of the land.

What a disgrace that seahag is.

Anyway – the government is still shut down, Nancy and Trump are still spatting, and I am hungry for donuts.
