We’re three weeks away from the Super Bowl, and more importantly, the New England Patriots are just one game away from yet another Super Bowl appearance.
#SorryNotSorry.
I’m not a sore loser. I watch the Super Bowl no matter WHO is in it– and no. I’m not one of those people who just watch it for the commercials or Super Bowl halftime show. I legitimately love watching the game.
STILL. I enjoy a good Super Bowl halftime performance just as much as the next guy, and this year’s is FINALLY OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED.
Maroon 5 will be headlining (which we knew), but organizers have also secured “special guests.” Word had it the NFL was having trouble securing guests, because there are too many celebs who are still butthurt over the whole Colin Kaepernick fiasco.
Also set to appear: Travis Scott and Big Boi of the Atlanta-bred group Outkast.
Meh.
Prediction: I think Maroon 5 will perform “Girls Like You,” and Cardi B will make a surprise appearance.
Nothing will ever be as good as Bruno Mars’ halftime show…
… but they can try.
