When I learned of RBG’s surgery to remove cancer from her lung earlier today, I pushed all politics aside to both wish her well, and note my tremendous respect for her accomplishments.
You can read all of that here.
To sum it all up:
While I do not agree with her politics, I respect and value who she is, and what she’s done. Think of it this way: She was best friends with ANTONIN SCALIA. He is my Conservative IDOL. If Scalia respected her integrity and character, who am I to say I don’t?
For a woman of her age to have accomplished what Ruth has accomplished is truly exceptional. Despite my differing political opinions, I will never refute that. She is inspirational in many ways. Again… If SCALIA had the respect and love for her he did… who are you to say Conservatives can’t have respect for her? I do.
I feel that if we ever had a conversation, she’d respect the fact that I’ve stood firm in my own beliefs, and that as a woman, I’ve created my own path.
All that being said, I think it’s time for Ruth to step back, recover, and get some rest. She’s 85.
Here’s the thing… Ruth stepping back and actually taking care of herself means Trump gets to appoint yet ANOTHER Justice.
…and so the left has entered FULL PANIC MODE.
Dammit, 2018, NO. You cannot have Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

I know this would go against journalistic objectivity, but part of me wishes this tweet had been prefaced w/ “EVERYTHING IS FINE.”

This really may be the week that does me in. I am so encouraged by the surgeon’s statement. That fall that broke her ribs saved her life. I never thought I would be glad she fell. Love to the notorious RBG, my hero!

Thank goodness RBG has nine lives.

She is fine. @RBGmovie Is stronger than most of us.

Here’s the thing… this is all rather selfish, isn’t it?
They want her to get better so they can put her back to work.
Two more years Justice Ginsburg! Two more years!
— Richard Estrada (@LanceStryker6) December 21, 2018
And THEN you can die?
Wow. Seems pretty selfish.
I wish her a quick and easy recovery. https://t.co/xGvXdY6jhD
