MEEEOW! Rahm Emanuel Has Some HARSH Words For ‘Beto’

While Beto had said he DEFINITELY wouldn’t run for president in 2020 mere days before the November election, he almost IMMEDIATELY changed his tune as soon as elections were over.

I think the entire time Beto Boy was running against Cruz, it was pretty obvious he wasn’t running a campaign in Texas… he was running a NATIONAL campaign. He had Democratic support (and HYUGE sums of money) coming in from all over the country.

Did Beto ever REALLY have his sights set on Texas? …or was he looking at 2020 all along?

A DAY before the midterms, he pretended to put rumors to rest:

Less than a week and a half later, Beto changed his tune:

According to Daily Caller:

Former Democratic Senate hopeful Beto O’Rourke stated that he had no intention of running for president prior to the election, but he appeared to have changed his mind by the time TMZ caught up with him on Friday.

A TMZ cameraman approached O’Rourke near the White House and asked if had any intentions of running for the 2020 Democratic nomination.

He said, “It’s been a little bit more than a week since we lost this election and ran this race, and I’m still taking that in and trying to figure out just where I am and where my family is, so, no, we haven’t really been able to talk—.”

PSSSSH.

“I haven’t made any decisions about anything” sounds pretty different than “I will not be a candidate for president in 2020. That’s I think as definitive as those sentences get.”

Since then, rumblings have only intensified of his potential run…

And Rahm Emanuel has some HARSH words for the ‘loser.’

According to Fox News:

In an appearance Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said that in 2020, Democrats should support a proven winner instead of a “loser” like Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D., Texas).

“If Beto O’Rourke wants to go and run for president, God bless him. He should put his hat in and make his case. But he lost. You don’t promote a loser to the top of the party,” Emanuel said.

BAAAHAHAHAHA!

Well… ALL Democrats are losers. So you’re gonna have a hard time figuring out who to nominate…

Despite previous insistences that he was not interested in higher office, O’Rourke told reporters on Monday he would not rule out a 2020 run. The Texas Democrat received extensive national attention during his failed Senate bid against Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), shattering fundraising records while losing by 3 points.

Emanuel, the former Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair, said he wanted someone who understood riding the momentum of a successful midterm to a White House win.

I don’t think he’s wrong. But of course… it’s not like I want them to win.
