The Guardian published a piece today, accusing Paul Manafort of secretly meeting with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. You can catch up on all of that here.
Manafort has released a statement on the story. He’s denying every bit of it.
“This story is totally false and deliberately libelous,” he said. “I have never met Julian Assange or anyone connected to him.”

Paul Manafort says he's thinking about suing the Guardian. "We are considering all legal options against the Guardian who proceeded with this story even after being notified by my representatives that it was false.”
