Fox News Apologizes After Guest Compares Hillary Clinton To Herpes

Fox News has issued an apology after a guest– Turning Point USA’s director of Spanish engagement Anna Paulina– compared Hillary Clinton to herpes on air Thanksgiving morning. She was discussing the Hillary email scandal, and host Rick Leventhal mentioned Hillary’s inability to stay out of the spotlight.

“She won’t go away. She’s like herpes,” Paulina said.

“OK, that is news that we are breaking here. Not appropriate,” Leventhal said.

They removed her from the segment, and Leventhal apologized for the “language” used.

“We are going to wrap this segment a little bit early because of the language that was used in the segment, and we apologize to our viewers for that,” he said.

Fox News anchor Arthel Neville also apologized for the incident.

“We are all Americans, and that is the focus and we want to reiterate that we do not condone the language that Anna Paulina just displayed here, and we apologize to Secretary Clinton for that,” she said after the segment wrapped up. “Fox News does not condone her sentiment.”

Paulina apologized on Twitter. She said she was placed in the wrong segment and made the “brash and unprofessional joke” in the midst of the confusion.

Yesterday on Fox I was placed on the wrong segment & in the confusion made a brash and unprofessional joke. To Fox and those watching, I am deeply sorry.

My feeling simply is that Big Government creates dynasties like the Clintons that won’t go away & Americans are over it.
