I’ve been having such a hard time with the world lately. There’s just so much evil. I have a sensitive heart. I haven’t been able to catch my breath for a week.

As I told you in my last “totally not important news” post… it’s nice to take a break from the weight of the world, sometimes.

As I said then: It’s not that there are not more important things to cover – there are plenty. It’s that we all need a laugh (or an aww!) – and a break. Even if just for a moment.

So anyway… I saw this a few moments ago, and KNEW I had to share it with you guys. Maybe some of you have already seen it. I hadn’t. So here we are.

A sweet little boy in a wheelchair got to FIST BUMP the players as they walked into the locker room.

I’m totally crying. That’s just where I’m at right now, ok?

Now – I know some stick in the mud is going to come at me because it’s “not a big deal and he has so many of those” or some cynical bullcrap like that.

You know what? CAN IT. Seriously. Keep your a-holery to yourself this time, ok?

Those little boy’s hearts are filled with PURE JOY. And that guy knew a small gesture would totally do that. That’s ALL I care about right now… spreading a little bit of joy.
