Hope Hicks Is Joining Fox News’ Parent Company

President Trump’s former communications director, Hope Hicks, has a new gig. Nope, it’s not with the Trump administration. It’s with Fox, the parent company of Fox News.

Former White House communications director and longtime Donald Trump aide Hope Hicks has been named executive vp and chief communications officer of the new Fox company.

The company on Monday also announced that Danny O’Brien will serve as executive vp and head of government relations for the company that will remain after Disney purchases most of 21st Century Fox’s assets.

“Hope and Danny are proven leaders and world-class public affairs professionals,” said Viet Dinh, chief legal and policy officer, in the announcement. “Together they will define and project Fox’s voice to our relevant communities.”

In other words, she will NOT be rejoining the Trump administration anytime soon.

Hope Hicks' next act is at FOX: She's joining the spun-off company as EVP and chief communications officer.

Context: Disney is buying most of 21st Century Fox. The remaining Fox assets, like Fox News, Fox Sports and the broadcast network, will become FOX, and Hicks will run PR.
