Carrie Underwood Causes OUTRAGE For Saying She Might Have ‘Missed Her Chance To Have A Big Family’

I’m 27. I’ll be 28 in November. My dream has always been to have 3 kids. Not too big, not too small… you can fit them in the back of a normal vehicle… and if one turns out to be a liberal, you still have two good ones!

I kid, I kid. I’d love my kids no matter what… buuuuut they’ll have to put up with plenty of dinner table talks about liberty and fiscal responsibility. My house, my political tirades over pecan pie. That’s just the way it is.

Anyway, I think I have PLENTY of time. I’m not worried. I’ve always thought I want them to be relatively close in age, too. So I could easily get the job done in like 5 years, right?

I also have A LOT I have to do before then. You know. Like get married. But I’m not worried about that, either. I’m working on it.

Anywhoooo 35-year-old country star Carrie Underwood recently revealed she may have missed her chance to have a big family, and she’s getting a lot of very mixed responses on Twitter for it.

According to Daily Mail:

She has one son, Isaiah, three.

But Carrie Underwood has expressed her fear that she’s left it too late to fulfill her dream of having more children with husband Mike Fisher in an interview with Redbook on Thursday.

‘I’m 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family,’ admitted the Cry Pretty singer.

‘We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older.’

‘In the meantime, we’re lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible.’

That’s HER choice to make.

I know plenty of people who have had a baby after 35.

If she doesn’t feel like that’s right for her or her family… it’s no one else’s business.

And she’s right. At 35, her chances of having 10 kids aren’t looking too great. There’s really no denying that. I don’t care if you feel “offended.” It’s a lot easier to have 10 kids if you start at 20. That’s not “offensive” …that’s just reality.

But of course… EVERYONE has a damn opinion about it.

Why are people this invested in Carrie’s womb or family size?

US Weekly reveals a slew of comments came rolling in on Facebook, too:

The comments came rolling in on Facebook. “I’m 38 and just had a baby . . . she’s being ridiculous,” wrote one woman. Added another: “You do know that everyone’s body is different, right?”

A third fan revealed her 20-year-old sister is struggling to conceive, while her mother-in-law became pregnant at 41 with no difficulty.

Again… she didn’t say she can no longer have ANY BABIES. Or that NO 35 year old should consider having children.

She said that at 35, she may have missed her chance to have a BIG FAMILY.

“I had a baby at 38” is SO different than “I had 7 more kids after the age of 35” ISN’T IT?!?!?!

EVERYONE NEEDS TO TAKE A DEEP BREATH, UNCLENCH, AND REALIZE THAT EVERYTHING ISN’T ABOUT THEM.
