Seth Rogen Under Fire, Accused Of Putting A Stunt Double In ‘Blackface’ For Latest Film

Seth Rogen is currently under fire for having a stunt double dress in “blackface” for his latest film “Good Boys.”

A photo was taken of the stunt double for 11-year-old Keith L Williams. The photo shows the kid wearing a fat suit with dark paint on his face. You know, to match Williams’ skin tone.

According to the reports, at least one person on set was upset and filed some sort of complaint.

Look– I’m not one to defend Seth Rogen. Not a fan to say the least. However, I think the backlash here is beyond stupid. They weren’t doing this as a form of mockery. His stunt double needed to match him. The end. There’s nothing nefarious about it.

Other sources connected to the production company, Good Universe, tell us it’s “not uncommon for lighting purposes to match actors’ skin tones” … and they insist this is not a blackface situation.

We’ve spoken to others in the industry who say their experience is, rather than using makeup, casting directors typically make a point of hiring stand-ins who match the actors’ complexions.

By the way, the stunt double kid isn’t even white. TMZ was told that he’s a “light-skinned African-American kid,” which makes the complaints even more ridiculous. Oh. And his father is a stunt double and is “offended by the [complaints] being made regarding his son.”

Can everyone please stop being stupid, at least for five minutes?
