The other day, #resisters called for another boycott of Laura Ingraham’s show. Why? Over this remark.
“More kids are being separated from their parents and temporarily housed in what are essentially summer camps, or as The San Diego Union Tribune described them today, as basically looking like boarding schools,” Ingraham said Monday. “The American people are footing a really big bill for what is tantamount to a slow-rolling invasion of the United States.”

As heartless as it may sound, she makes an uncomfortable, yet solid, point.
We’re not marching into Mexico and ripping kids away from their parents. The PARENTS are doing this to their children. They bear the responsibility. They’re WILLINGLY and KNOWINGLY breaking the law. On top of that, once they’re here, we’re not throwing kids in rusty cages and starving them. I feel for these sweet little kids. It’s not their fault. It’s sad, yes, but I’m willing to bet the living conditions in those detention centers are LOADS better than the sh*thole areas they came from.
Let’s be real here.
Ingraham even backed up her remark.
“Many elements of Casa San Diego, an El Cajon facility for unaccompanied children who arrived at the southern border, seem like what one would expect from a boarding school… “ https://t.co/ge8Z0QnOdy

“There are classrooms, a play area with soccer goals and a medical clinic with superheroes like Wonder Woman, Superman and the Hulk on the walls.”

That was enough for David Hogg to pounce. He gets off on doing this kind of stupid stuff.
So @IngrahamAngle we meet again. Who are you biggest advertisers now?

If we get these advertisers pulled maybe @Ingraham will have to become a camp counselor and learn how wrong she is.
1. @BeachesResorts & @SandalsResorts
2.@SIRIUSXM
3. @CarfaxReports
4. @AceHardware
5. IAC (Angie’s List, Home Advisor, Match)
6. @Cabelas
7. @JohnDeere— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) June 19, 2018
The media and internet company IAC will no longer be running ads for HomeAdvisor or Angie’s List on the show, an IAC spokesperson confirmed on Thursday.
However, Fox News is unfazed.
Between June 4 and 15, IAC was Ingraham’s second-biggest advertiser, according to Kantar Media, running 13 ads for HomeAdvisor. The company had already stopped airing ads for Match.com after Hogg’s previous boycott campaign.
A Fox News spokesperson said the network was unaffected by any loss in advertising resulting from Ingraham’s latest comments.
“There’s been no impact on our business, and new advertisers continue to opt in for our powerful prime-time lineup,” the spokesperson said.
Fox News is standing by Ingraham 100%.
“Laura Ingraham’s very personal, on-the-ground commitment to the plight of impoverished and abandoned children — specifically in Guatemala — speaks for itself,” a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement. “So too does her strong belief in a commonsense, legal immigration system, which will continue to be a focus of her show.
“FOX News will never tolerate or give in to attempts to silence diverse viewpoints by agenda-driven intimidation efforts.”
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
