11-Year-Old Gets Grade Docked For Not Answering Weird Question About Trump

This isn’t cool AT ALL. As a parent, I’d be livid.

An 11-year-old student in Annadale, New York got a lower grade on a homework assignment for not answering a loaded question, bashing President Trump.

That’s such an inappropriate question. It’s more loaded than a cheesy baked potato. By the way– the question about Barack Obama had three choices: The answer could’ve been “haughty,” “humble,” and “precedent.”

Mhm.

ANYWAY. As you can see above, the student’s father wasn’t having this politically loaded BS, so he wrote a little note to the teacher and told his daughter to leave those answers blank. The teacher responded by docking 15 points from the girl’s grade.

Zawatsky responded by taking 15 points off the girl’s grade for the three blank spaces — giving Ungro’s daughter an 85. Ungaro called this move “vindictive.”

LifeZette reached out to Ken Zapata, the principal of I.S. 75, but as of publication time had not received a response.

The dad of four, whose pre-teen son goes to the same school, also got an email from Zawatsky, the teacher. “Firstly, I do not believe I was expressing a political view at all on my vocabulary sheet. My reference to President Trump was about his personality traits rather than his ability as a president,” the teacher wrote.

“This woman is forcing my child to put words on a piece of paper describing our president in a disparaging manner,” Ungro told The Post Thursday. “Her political opinion should be left at home.”

Predictably, the teacher is defending her actions. She thinks she’s doing students a solid.

“The media is nonstop on very similar references,” she stated. “This is considered freedom of speech and I feel I have the same right as they do.”

How DARE anyone question her. She’s an almighty educator, plebs.

“That teacher should be fired,” said one dad in New York, a father of four. “How is her behavior considered acceptable?”

The Post reported that this teacher makes $102,000 a year in salary. Principal Zapata reportedly spoke to Zawatsky, and a disciplinary letter was placed in her file, officials said.

Teachers are entitled to their own political opinions, but LEAVE IT OUT of kids’ homework assignments. Goodness.
