Update On The Sweet Toddler The UK Government Has Sentenced To Death

Last night we told you about little Alfie Evans, the sweet toddler who’s fighting for his life in the UK. According to reports, he’s in a “‘semi-vegetative state’ and has a degenerative neurological condition doctors had not definitively diagnosed.”

The hospital in Liverpool has given up on him, and the High Court has ruled in its favor. They’re overriding the parents. Keep in mind that Alfie was granted Italian citizenship on Monday, meaning he could be transferred to a hospital in Rome and receive treatment RIGHT NOW. This minute.

However, a heartless High Court judge decided otherwise. The judge instructed doctors to stop treating Alfie, and they did. They took him off life support last night, but he’s still holding on to his life.

“He is needing oxygen but the hospital won’t give him any,” Alfie’s father said last night. “I don’t know what to do. He’s not suffering. He is losing his color and his fingers are going slowly blue but he is able to sustain his life.”

“He needs to be oxygenated and they won’t oxygenate him,” he added. “All he needs is some oxygen. He is starting to need oxygen and the hospital are refusing to give him that.”

“Both Kate and I had to give him mouth to mouth resuscitation to keep him alive because his lips turned blue,” the father later added.

“We were doing what a nurse should have been doing to sustain his life,” he continued. “Now they are saying that he looks really good but we all know he should be in Italy right now.”

Thankfully, the hospital eventually gave him oxygen, which is the LEAST they could do. What human being could sit there and watch a precious angel struggle to breath and DO NOTHING?

A spokesman for the Christian Legal Centre, the pro-life group bringing court action on behalf of Alfie’s parents, said the boy was able to breathe unaided for six hours after his ventilation was withdrawn at 9.20pm on Monday. However, the court heard that Alfie was then provided with hydration and ventilation at 4am when he became distressed and struggled to breathe.

Judge intervened after Diamond said current legal situation is “contrary to civilised norms”. Judge says he doesn’t want court to be used “as a platform for platitudes and soundbites but for proper submissions” on behalf of Alfie’s family.

New: Judge appears to have ruled out allowing Alfie to go to Rome or Munich for treatment – but asks Alder Hey to consider possibility of letting parents take him home.

There has also been criticism from Alder Hey and the judge of some people around Alfie’s parents, said to be providing them false hope. “It’s profoundly depressing to say the least,” said the judge. He called one a “fanatical and deluded young man”.

HOW DARE HE SAY THAT.

The judge ultimately said the ruling “represents the final chapter in the life of this extraordinary little boy.”

Italy granted the baby emergency citizenship on Monday, but his parents still cannot legally transport him out of the country.

The judge called Italy’s move to grant Alfie citizenship “disrespectful to the principles of international diplomacy” and said supporters of the parents have given them “misleading” advice about their child.

“Alfie is a British citizen, he is undoubtedly habitually resident in the UK. He falls therefore under the jurisdiction of the High Court,” argued lawyers for the hospital.

A plane is on standby to transport Alfie and his parents to the Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome in case they win their appeal.

There’s literally a plane READY for Alfie, but the big government a$$holes in the UK won’t let him leave.

This is completely outrageous in every way imaginable. Why does the UK care if this sweet child gets treated at another hospital in another country? Seriously? How does this put them out in any way?

Want to know the morbid truth? I’ll tell you. They say there’s no chance he’ll fully recover, and they don’t want to take care of a disabled child, because they see it as a drain on the system.
