US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley fully supports President Trump’s decision on Syria.
“He [President Trump] has said from the beginning we have to know we’re right, we have to know all the information, we have to know there’s proof and we have to know that we’re taking every precaution necessary should we take action,” she said Friday.
She added that “there is proof” that a chemical weapons attack did, in fact, happen.
“Did a chemical weapons attack happen? Yes, the U.S. has analyzed, yes it has happened, the UK has analyzed, yes it has happened, France has analyzed, yes it has happened, three separate analysis all coming back with the same thing, there is proof this happened,” Haley added.
Fast forward to today. There’s currently an emergency United Nations Security Council meeting underway. Countries are reacting to the airstrikes on Syria, and Haley is standing firm.
“We acted to deter the future use of chemical weapons by holding the Syrian regime responsible for its atrocities against humanity,” Haley stated.
"The U.K., France, and the U.S. acted, not as revenge, not as punishment, not as a symbolic show of force. We acted to deter the future use of chemical weapons by holding the Syrian regime responsible for its atrocities against humanity," @nikkihaley says. https://t.co/QBeUOhJIgM pic.twitter.com/yXXV9flkxU

She even blasted Russia and its obvious disinformation campaign.
“We can all see that a Russian disinformation campaign is in full force this morning,” Haley stated. “The pictures of dead children were not fake news.”

And she ended with a stark warning.
“I spoke to the president this morning, and he said ‘if the Syrian regime uses this poisonous gas again, the United States is locked and loaded,'” Haley stated.
In other words, try us.

I’m just gonna leave this here. I think it’s worth considering…
People need to stop the hysteria. We hit chemical weapons facilities with Tomahawks and the Brits by air.
We didn’t storm Syrian beaches and drop into Damascus, and we’re not forcing regime change over the weekend.
If #Iran, #Russia, and #Syria behave, this is one and done.
