Daily Show Writer Takes Nasty “Prom” Jab At Sarah Sanders

Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Trump’s place this year.

Honestly… I don’t know why ANYONE on the Trump team is going. Why give the insufferable media any more of their time than is absolutely necessary?

As reported by the (ultra-lib) Daily Beast:

On Friday, the news broke that press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in place of President Trump, who’s declined to attend for the second straight year.

A statement released by the White House Correspondents’ Association read: “The White House has informed us that the president does not plan to participate in this year’s dinner but that he will actively encourage members of the executive branch to attend and join us as we celebrate the First Amendment. In keeping with tradition, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also will represent the administration at the head table. The April 28 dinner celebrates award-winning reporting, scholarship winners and the vital role of the First Amendment and the free press in American democracy.”

Anyway… the seahag that is hosting the thing has already started ripping on her. Of course she has.

When asked about the news, Michelle Wolf, the hilarious Daily Show correspondent and future Netflix late-night host who’s hosting the night’s festivities, told The Daily Beast: “I’m just excited Sarah finally gets to go to prom.”

As for Trump’s continued absence at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, otherwise known as “nerd prom,” he may still harbor ill will toward the ceremony dating back to 2011, when emcee Seth Meyers and then-President Obama ripped the birther to shreds.

She’s excited Sarah finally gets to go to prom?

What exactly does that mean?

Like Sarah wasn’t pretty or cool enough to go to prom before?

DOES ANYONE REALIZE HOW SCREWED UP THIS IS COMING FROM THE LIBERAL “FEMINISTS.”

But as you know, this is FAR from the first time the “tolerant” and “feminist” left has taken a nasty, low blow at Sarah.

As BPR recounts:

Wolf’s sexist jab is the latest in an unending barrage of mean-spirited, misogynistic attacks on Sarah Sanders’ appearance and weight. Despite their claims that they support female empowerment, liberals have viciously bullied Sanders simply because she works for President Trump.

Last month, Trump-hating comedian Jim Carrey tweeted a hideous painting of Sanders with the description “Monstrous!”

In November 2017, a Los Angeles Times cartoonist fat-shamed Sanders by calling her “chunky soccer mom.”

And Trump-bashing liberal Cher — a self-proclaimed feminist and perpetual “Fashion Don’t” — recently slammed Sanders for her demure fashion style. “Would someone please tell Sarah Huckabee Sanders to stop dressing like a Sister Wife,” Cher tweeted.

They give HER sh*t for dressing conservatively… and uphold Hillary’s rainbow of over-priced pantsuits as some kind of cool, feminist phenomenon.

Give me a BREAK.

The hypocrisy is MINDBLOWING.

The same mainstream media that constantly trashes President Trump over past comments on women’s appearances (he was the owner of the Miss Universe beauty pageant, so that was actually part of his old job) repeatedly digs at Sarah Sanders’ looks, fashion style, and weight.

And again… these are the same people who like to spout about “empowering women” and “breaking glass ceilings.” Sarah has done both of those things… but have they pulled their heads out of their a$$es long enough to notice?

Meanwhile, liberals don’t give Sanders any credit for her trailblazing achievement as the first working mom to be White House press secretary. If Sanders were a Democrat, there’s no doubt she’d be celebrated as a glass ceiling-shattering pioneer on the covers of countless women’s magazines.
