BEHOLD Gender Neutral Mother’s Day Cards … Since Dudes Are Moms Now Or Whatever

According to Planned Parenthood, some dude have uteruses.

Anyway… I’m not being sarcastic or snarky or anything.

Yeah ok…. those “men” are known as “women” but you know… whatever floats your unhinged boat.

ANYWHOOO as those wo”men” with uteri are capable of having babies. That’s a thing now. And they want mother’s day cards because they birthed a child (which makes them a mother) but they also don’t want to be called mothers because they want to be called men and men aren’t moms.

Or something.

I know you’re super stressed about this… but DON’T WORRY.

There’s a card for that now.

According to the Sunday Times:

Waitrose is selling gender-neutral Mother’s Day cards as retailers reduce their use of the M-word to make today’s celebration more “transgender inclusive”, write Andrew Gilligan and Vincent Wood.

The supermarket chain is selling a “Happy You Day” card in its Mother’s Day range in which the word “mother” does not appear.

Ok… so like, you don’t want to be a mom but you want to be celebrated on mother’s day?

Can’t you like… celebrate on father’s day or something?

Waitrose said the move was aimed at “broadening out who the cards can go to, whether it’s grandmas or transgender mums”. Traditional cards are still sold.

Waitrose has been joined by other retailers, including Scribbler, whose Mother’s Day offerings include a “Two mums are better than one” card for same-sex couples and a “Dad, thanks for being the most amazing mum” card.

Wait! So “dad” is the most amazing “mum?!” DOES THIS PERSON GET TWO DAYS A YEAR?!

The changes come after calls by some trans activists to rename Mother’s Suggestions include Guardian’s Day and Carer’s Day.

OMG THEN START YOUR OWN FREAKING DAY. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST MOMS. NOT COMPLICATED-MOMS. THEY CAN KEEP THEIR FREAKING DAY.

Karen Pollock, a trans campaigner and therapist, said Mothering Sunday, the church’s traditional name for Mother’s Day, “feels more inclusive to me, since anyone can be ‘mothering’”.

Some schools — including Consett Junior School in Co Durham and High Bank School in Liversedge, West Yorkshire — have advertised the festival on their websites as Special Person’s Day or Mother’s and Special Person’s Day.

UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH UGH NO STOP.

Not everyone has a mother. Not everyone has a father. Some people have two of one.

GUESS WHAT.

That doesn’t mean everyone else needs to change the way THEY do things or the way they celebrate their loved ones to accommodate to someone else’s needs.

MOTHER’S DAY IS MOTHER’S DAY. STOP TRYING TO RUIN MOTHER’S DAY. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, GET YOUR OWN FREAKING DAY.
