It Looks Like David Hogg Is Taking Notes After All

Parkland shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv is setting a stellar example. He didn’t go along with his angry, misguided classmates and immediately start screaming about guns and the NRA.

Basically, Kyle’s been doing the complete OPPOSITE of his peers. David Hogg bragged that he hung up on the White House. Kyle lambasted him on Twitter and met with POTUS and FLOTUS personally.

“The president calls [Hogg] and it shows he wants to make a change, and you’re talking about bipartisan change and the one man who leads our nation comes to you and says ‘let’s do something, let’s make it happen.’ And you hang up on him?” Kashuv told Martha MacCallum.

“You hang up on him and brag about it on national television? It’s extremely counterproductive,” he added.

We recently suggested that David take some notes from Kyle.

It looks like he’s doing just that. Kinda.

Democrats are wrong all the time and Republicans are wrong all the time.

In my opinion, bipartisanship is understanding that if the two don’t even TRY to see eye-to-eye, nobody’s ever gonna be right.

Neither parties are perfect. But they’re always separated. Let’s change that

It’s true! Kyle has been setting a fantastic example. David has been the one busy demonizing everyone who disagrees with him. I repeat, the kid bragged about hanging up on the White House. Does that sound like someone interested in bipartisanship to you?

Here are the details, via the Washington Times:

Attempting to buy a gun while on the banned buyer list is a crime, though the federal government hardly ever prosecutes — and in many cases never informs states that an attempt was made, denying them the chance to do their own investigation or prosecution.

The new bill would require states to be notified of all “lie-and-try” attempts.

It would also require the Justice Department to report on its own prosecutions, giving the public a better sense for why federal authorities regularly decline to pursue charges.

“This would be a strong step forward in preventing future tragedies,” said Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican.

He is being joined by fellow Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, a Democrat, along with Sens. Chris Coons, Delaware Democrat, and Pat Toomey, Pennsylvania Republican.
