I know he’s a kid, you guys. I know this.
But I’m just gonna say it. I can’t stand that smug little jerk.
He’s simultaneously trying to play the “I’m just a kid!” card and weigh in on important policy decisions, and I’m sorry but you don’t get to have it both ways.
Charles CW Cooke wrote a great piece on this right here.
In it, Cooke writes that because Hogg has voluntarily put himself smack dab into the middle of this policy debate, people who disagree with him and who value their 2nd amendment rights not only SHOULD speak out against him, but have a DUTY to do so.
It’s a must read, you guys.
Hogg messed up earlier today when he decided to pick a fight with Alex Jones.
Now, I should say for the record that I am not a fan of Alex Jones. I find him detestable, in fact, on many levels. But one thing that Alex Jones is NOT, is easily intimidated, especially by a punk like David Hogg.
BEHOLD:
Again, can I just point out what a disrespectful douchewagon David Hogg is? I cannot imagine speaking to adults this way when I was Hogg’s age. And this is yet further evidence that our culture is in a total dumpster fire.
Also – WTF is Hogg even trying to say? I have to laugh at the fact that the advice Dan Rather gave to Hogg to pursue his career in political journalism was as follows: “Writing is the bedrock of the craft. If you want to do anything in journalism, learn to write. Dedicate yourself to a lifetime of improving your writing. I can’t guarantee you’ll be famous and make a lot of money. But you can have a very satisfying career if you concentrate on writing.”
Let’s put aside for the moment that Dan Rather is the LAST PERSON ON EARTH who should be offering journalism advice to ANYONE. But he has a point. Writing is an important skill, and it’s one that David Hogg lacks. Bigly.
Anyway, back to Alex Jones. As you can imagine, he jumped at Hogg’s offer:
So what did this punk-ass kid do? Run away with his tail between his legs of course.
I’m simply not going to pussyfoot around this anymore, y’all. David Hogg wants to make the rounds on all the talk shows and disrespect adults and act like some sort of spokesperson? He better be ready to take the heat he’s creating in the kitchen.
So like the kids say these days, Come at us, bruh.
