The holiday was originally established to mark George Washington’s birthday, but now we use it to celebrate ALL presidents of the past. However, because people don’t like our current president, it’s a CRAPPY DAY.

President Trump tweeted about the day and encouraged everyone to “reflect.” I know this is a day we remember presidents of the past too, but I can’t help but wonder if this is Trump’s way of telling the resistance, “Hey, I’m POTUS. YOUR PRESIDENT. Reflect on THAT.”
