I’ve actually not heard this idea before, but I see what he’s aiming at.
Democrats would not have the direct benefit of a bunch of amnesty recipients voting for them… which let’s face it, is their MAIN objective.
Maybe in 15-25 years they’d see how PATHETIC the dems are and how little they ACTUALLY care about those they claim to fight for…
And they’d join the right team?
Maybe.
If these people couldn’t vote for a quarter of a century… would the Democrats even keep fighting for amnesty? Probably not.
According to the Washington Examiner:
Conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh said that he would be in favor of granting amnesty to every illegal immigrant, with a major catch.
“I would be willing right here to support an effort to grant permanent citizenship for whatever number if you make part of the deal they can’t vote for 15-25 years,” Limbaugh said on Fox News Sunday.
Limbaugh’s comments cap a week where the Senate defeated four immigration bills that included a proposal from President Trump to shield 1.4 million illegal immigrants known as “Dreamers” that entered the country as children. The proposal was voted down due to other cuts to legal immigration that included termination of a diversity visa lottery program.
A bipartisan bill that protected around 800,000 Dreamers from deportation and kept in the lottery program also failed.
The defeats leave Congress facing another stalemate on Dreamers. Trump rolled back protections for them starting on March 5.
Limbaugh accused Democrats of not really wanting to solve the problem since Trump gave them “pretty much what they want.”

It’s not really voting suppression when they’re not supposed to legally vote in the first place… ya dolt.
Anyway…. I dunno about all of this… I don’t feel that breaking our laws should be rewarded with permanent citizenship under any circumstances….
