It’s Super Bowl weekend, which means that we have to talk about Tom Brady and how his water intake would kill a normal person like you and how his wife doesn’t let him eat strawberries, and basically how he and Gisele McSupermodel and more than likely aliens.
But listen – they have what appear to be normal looking human spawn, and when I see stuff like this, it strikes a nerve with me:
So Tom Brady kisses his son on the mouth. Ummm, so freaking what? And people are TIMING it?
Tom Brady kisses his 11 year-old son on the lips. I'm not one to judge parenting styles, but that is just very, very strange.

He’s not one to judge. Nah.

For crying out loud. Those are just two of many, y’all. I could go on.
Again, I’m not even a fan of Tom Brady, so it pains me to defend the guy and his (obviously) alien wife, but he seemed (to me, at least) to be kidding around. It was a cute exchange between the two of them. And it’s lovely to see a man be affectionate toward his son. It’s lovely to see a man PRESENT for his son.
This whole “parent-shaming” incident reminds me of when Victoria Beckham got called out for hugging her boy. That actually happened. And when David Beckham kissed HIS daughter.
I have no idea what kind of a father Tom Brady is when he’s off-camera or not on social media, frankly. But that seemed like a sweet exchange between a son and his father. It seems like he’s a genuinely good Daddy – probably like his Dad was (interesting how that works), and to me? That means more than any game or Super Bowl ring.
People who think otherwise need to check themselves.
