Meet Travis Mills. He’s absolutely AMAZING.
A little backstory. He’s a wounded veteran. He lost all four limbs after hitting an IED in Afghanistan.
It made him question everything. How could he be a father? How could he continue to live a “normal life”?
A month into his recovery, Travis met another man who’s a quadruple amputee. He filled Travis with encouragement and told him that life goes on. He walks, he drives and “does most anything” he wants to do. He told Travis he could do the same.
His family was his motivation. He determined to overcome for the sake of his wife and precious daughter.
He ultimately spent 19 months recovering at Walter Reed Military Hospital and went on to found the Travis Mills Foundation, which helps wounded veterans recover with their families by their side. So far, his foundation has helped 80 families.
What an amazing person. <3
