R&B Singer Accused Of Transphobia For Not Allowing Himself To Be Kissed By Transwoman.

According to this,  R&B singer Ginuwine, who is currently appearing on Big Brother UK, has a fellow castmember named India Willoughby, who is a transwoman.

On a recent episode, a conversation took place between Ginuwine, India, and several others, about the fact that many men are reluctant to date transwomen.  India in particular lamented her struggles in trying to find men who’d be interested in dating her, because the fact that she was born male isn’t attractive to them.

Ginuwine admitted that he would not be interested in dating a transwoman.  And that’s when it got weird.

“I’m a woman, right,” said Willoughby. “Forget about any ‘t’s, or anything in front of it. So, on that score, you would date me, wouldn’t you?”

“Not if you told me you was trans,” Ginuwine admitted.

“No, no, I’m not telling you I’m trans,” Willoughby said. “I’m a woman.”

“A woman? Yeah,” Ginuwine conceded.

That’s when India pulled Ginuwine closer and made a move to kiss him, and Ginuwine pulled away. He was smiling and taking it as a joke, but yeah – he pulled away.

And in today’s world, pulling away from an unwelcome kiss is apparently TOTALLY TRANSPHOBIC, despite the fact that every person involved in the #metoo and #timesup movement would have you believe that even an unwelcome WORD is basically on the same spectrum of sexual misconduct as rape is.

So I don’t get it. Are people allowed to choose who they want to share physical contact with or not?

Apparently not, if you’re a straight dude who doesn’t want to date a transwoman. BEHOLD:

The shit between India and Ginuwine IS transphobia & im tired of them saying that it isn’t. If you say you won’t date someone because they’re trans but you would date them if you didn’t know, IT IS TRANSPHOBIA.

Listen, transwomen – I sympathize with your plight. It must be awful to want to be a woman, and to go through the hormone therapies, the surgeries, etc. in order to try to be as much of a woman as you can possibly be despite your biology screaming at you that you’re a man. I can’t even imagine how awful that must be. And then to add on top of that the fact that there is only a small percentage of straight men who have an interest in dating someone who is biologically male – it must be super frustrating. But you don’t get to claim transphobia on this one. You just simply don’t.

You don’t get to decide for anyone else who they want to date or be physically intimate with. Those are personal decisions based on a multitude of factors that vary from individual to individual, and none of it is anyone else’s business. None of it makes anyone racist or sexist or transphobic or homophobic. It’s simply a matter of personal taste who someone finds attractive enough to date.

I can’t believe this requires explanation.
